For a child, the last style of device ought to be the type that’s worn. For an adult, the alternatives have a wider range and can be dictated more by their level of hearing loss. A mild hearing loss will use the CIC and nobody will be the wiser. If there’s a significant loss, they’re better served to use either the ITE or BTE devices.
